How to apply for proxy access to library electronic resources.

EZproxy

The AFRL D'Azzo Research Library proxy login allows access to subscribed electronic resources, and can be used anywhere with Internet access.

***Only Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL at Wright-Patterson AFB) employees and contractors are eligible for proxy access, all other customers wishing to access library electronic resources may do so by visiting the D'Azzo Research Library in person.***

Steps to Follow

  • Step 1 - All AFRL customers wanting to access library resources are required to have a valid library card (to verify if you have an active library account, please contact the library staff at 937-938-4238 or 937-938-2057). If you do not have a library card, please proceed to the next step.
  • Step 2 - Customers need to fill out Parts I and/or II (as applicable) of the User Agreement form, e-sign it, and email the form to the library's dedicated proxy mailbox. (***If you have difficulty e-signing the form inside your browser window, please try saving it to your documents folder before filling it out and e-signing.***)
  • Step 3 - Library staff will email you a proxy username and password, allowing both on- and off-base access to library resources. If you submitted the User Agreement form by email and needed a library card, your card will be delivered via inter-office mail.

Further Information

The proxy username and password are only meant to be used for the initial login screen, and are not meant to be used with the individual systems of each publisher. If a database publisher's interface is requiring a login when attempting to view the full-text of an article, please notify the library so we can address the issue with the information provider (email / 937-938-2056).

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns via email or telephone (937-938-4238).
