This Guide will bring together the Materials Research and Handling resources of interest to both the Structural and Functional Materials and Applications divisions of the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate.

Ceramic Matrix Composites

Resources to assist with research and development of ceramic matrix composite technologies for transition to Air Force system components to provide increased system performance and efficiency, reduce cost and accelerate manufacturing. Provide researchers with information to assist with developing damage and lifing models for high performance composites for propulsion and airframe applications supporting sustainment and life extension, as well as developing lightweight and high temperature structures for directed energy hardening.
